Meet the Staff

Kristina joined our team in 2022. She has worked with animals for over a decade; the last 5+ years being in veterinary medicine. She’s worked in both general practice and emergency hospitals but decided to transition to veterinary specialty after exploring the benefits of veterinary dentistry. She brought with her an extensive understanding of the veterinary field and a well-rounded administrative skill set and continues to enjoy the challenges of learning the ins and outs. As our lead client service representative, her goals are to provide a familiar voice/face when visiting our practice, to adeptly answer client questions, to schedule appointments and procedures, and working behind the scenes to maintain the flow of the hospital. When she is not at the front desk, she enjoys arts and crafts, attending concerts and festivals, and spending time with her husband and three pets: her dog Bean, and two cats named Dustin and Michael.

Araceli joined our team in 2026 after working in veterinary medicine for about seven years. She is the newest addition to our team as a Client Service Representative and brought with her the knowledge she gained at her previous practice. Her background in veterinary medicine has given her a strong understanding of the importance of helping pets receive the care they need, while making sure their owners feel supported and informed. Her goal is to provide a welcoming and positive experience for every client and patient, from scheduling appointments to providing updates, and following up after procedures. When Araceli is not at the front desk greeting clients and their furry family members, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, as well as relaxing with a good book.

Amissa joined the Dog & Cat Dentist team in 2013. She started as a jack of all trades – acting as the doctors’ assistant and part-time receptionist. After years of hard work, she earned her Registered Veterinarian Technician license in 2026 and is now the newest member of our RVT team. As our most versatile employee, Amissa is always a dependable helping hand, at the ready with whatever the team needs. During her free time, she enjoys roller skating, hiking, and just hanging out with friends. She is the pet parent of a sassy cream-colored Frenchie named Peach, and a precious little black Pug, named Georgia.

Jennifer is a registered veterinary technician and Dog & Cat Dentist’s very own cat whisperer. She joined the team in 2016. Her interest in dentistry lead her to the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians, where she was mentored by Dr. Tsugawa and credentialed as a technician specialist in 2014. Not only does she have extensive specialized knowledge in dentistry, one of her primary duties at Dog & Cat Dentist is sitting at your pet’s side to monitor their anesthesia during procedures. Jennifer enjoys trying out vegan recipes, whale watching, and spending time with her pets, which include rescued cats, a poodle, and a cockatiel. Ask Jennifer any question related to your pet’s dental needs, and she’ll be sure to have a well-informed answer at the ready!

Fabian is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) and has worked at Dog and Cat Dentist since 2023. He began his journey working in the veterinary field in 2004 and received his RVT license in 2021. Fabian has a vast wealth of knowledge that he puts to use by providing unparalleled care for our furry patients. Our clients find his knowledge and excellent bedside manner very comforting, and you will find him very relatable. One of the favorite aspects of his job is the satisfaction of putting patients and their humans at ease. In his time outside of work he enjoys watching sci-fi movies, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
