California Code of Regulations requires establishment of a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) before telemedicine services can be provided, and this relationship must be established in person. A VCPR cannot be established solely by telephonic or other electronic means. The Online Contact Form should also not be used for contacting the office for emergencies.
