Dog and Cat Dentist are a speciality veterinary clinic that offers dentistry and oral surgery services for dogs and cats. Established back in 2008, and operating out of two locations, Culver City and Woodland Hills, our practice is unique to the veterinary specialty marketplace, in that we are the only practice in the greater LA area that staffs board-certified specialists in veterinary dentistry.
Anson J. Tsugawa, VMD, Diplomate, AVDC™, Fellow, AVDC™ OMFS
Dr. Tsugawa is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and the founder of Dog and Cat Dentist, Inc. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Tsugawa returned to his alma mater as a Lecturer in Dentistry before moving to California to practice dentistry.
Jenna N. Winer, DVM, Diplomate, AVDC™
Dr. Jenna N. Winer is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist. She attended college at Washington University in St. Louis. She then obtained her veterinary degree from the University of California – Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned the distinction of graduating with the #1 rank academically in her veterinary class.
Kristin Walker, DVM, Diplomate, AVDC™
Kristin Walker, DVM, Diplomate, AVDC™ is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist™ and oral surgeon. She earned her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2004. Following graduation, she worked as a general small animal veterinarian, where she found a love for dentistry and the positive changes it can make in the lives of patients. Dr. Walker went on to complete a three-year residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and received her specialty board certification that same year.
After residency, Dr. Walker had the opportunity to start a dentistry and oral surgery service in Fairfield, New Jersey, where she enjoyed east coast living for several years. In 2012, she moved back to her original home state of California to join Dog and Cat Dentist. In 2016, she relocated to Idaho to be closer to her family, where she joined WestVet as their first dental specialist. Dr. Walker returns to Dog and Cat Dentist as a visiting specialist when possible!
Dr. Walker has served on multiple committees for the American Veterinary Dental College and often assists with specialized dental care at her local zoo. Outside of work, Dr. Walker enjoys hiking, golfing, gardening and spending time with her many four-legged children!
