The American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC)
The clinical specialist organization for veterinary dentists, accredited
by the American Board of Veterinary Specialties of the American Veterinary
Medical Association. Diplomates of the AVDC, like Dr. Tsugawa, provide
specialized dental care for patients.
The Veterinary Oral Health
Council
The Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC®) awards a Seal of Acceptance
for products that successfully meet pre-set criteria for effectiveness
in controlling plaque and/or calculus deposition in dogs and cats. The
VOHC is an entity of the American Veterinary Dental College.
The American Veterinary
Dental Society (AVDS)
The American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) was founded in 1976 for
the purpose of creating a forum – a forum for advancing the knowledge,
education, and awareness of veterinary dentistry among veterinarians,
students and the public.
California Veterinary
Medical Association (CVMA)
Founded in 1888, the CVMA was the first veterinary association west
of the Mississippi River. Its leaders were among the pioneers of modern
veterinary medicine and were instrumental in the establishment of the
School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis.
Headquartered in Sacramento, California, the CVMA represents all segments
of the veterinary profession.
Southern California Veterinary
Medical Association (SCVMA)
Since 1919, the SCVMA has maintained a continued commitment to strengthening
the veterinary profession. The SCVMA has grown to become one of the largest,
most respected local veterinary associations in the nation. Their goal
is to enhance the quality of veterinary medicine in Southern California
and beyond.
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), established in 1863,
is a not-for-profit association representing more than 73,000 veterinarians
working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia,
and uniformed services. Structured to work for its members, the AVMA acts
as a collective voice for its membership and for the profession.
The Academy of Veterinary
Dentistry
The Academy of Veterinary Dentistry is an international organization of
veterinarians with a special interest in the dental care of animals.
